Clay Center, KS — August 1, 2026 — ESPi Corp is pleased to announce that its Wi-Fi UPS product line has been tested and approved to work with Tarana remote nodes at the customer premise. The approved models include the Wi-Fi Plus UPS (WF-2000) and the Mega Wi-Fi UPS (WF-3000).
This compatibility gives internet service providers deploying Tarana networks a powerful new solution to improve customer experience, protect customer-premise equipment, and keep subscribers online during power-related disruptions.
The ESPi Wi-Fi UPS is designed to provide backup power and voltage regulation for critical customer-premise equipment, including Tarana remote nodes and access points. Depending on the equipment load, the Wi-Fi UPS can keep the remote node and access point running for approximately 2–4 hours during power outages.
For subscribers working from home, running businesses, attending online classes, using Wi-Fi calling, or relying on connected devices, staying online is no longer optional. Storms, power outages, brownouts, and voltage fluctuations can interrupt connectivity, reboot equipment, and negatively impact the customer experience. ESPi’s Wi-Fi UPS helps solve that problem by keeping the connection stable when customers need it most.
“Keeping customers online during storms, outages, and voltage fluctuations is paramount,” said Ian Geeves, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at ESPi Corp. “The Wi-Fi UPS was designed to help service providers move beyond simply delivering internet service and begin offering a stronger, more reliable customer experience.”
As broadband providers continue to compete in a crowded market, customer experience has become a key differentiator. Offering a customer-premise UPS solution allows providers to improve service continuity, reduce frustration during outages, and create new opportunities for premium service offerings.
By giving subscribers the option to protect their internet connection, providers can create additional value, increase ARPU, support adoption of top-tier service plans, and develop new revenue streams.
The Wi-Fi Plus UPS (WF-2000) and Mega Wi-Fi UPS (WF-3000) are especially well-suited for fixed wireless deployments, business-class customers, work-from-home subscribers, and households where reliable connectivity is essential.
ESPi believes the future of broadband customer experience starts at the premise. By pairing advanced network deployments with reliable backup power, providers can deliver a more complete and resilient service offering.
Providers interested in the ESPi Wi-Fi UPS for Tarana deployments should contact their authorized distributor for pricing, availability, and program details.
